Im finding I need 2-3 days sometimes more between doing a muscle group due to soreness.

Is this normal? Im lifting pretty heavy straight off and I havent really lifted much weight for many years.

That's normal but can still train when you are sore, you'll probably find it actually gets better as you warm up.

hey what should I do if I have a bit of a stomach, am fairly fit (work all day as a sparkie and can run for 45min -1 hour) and want to lose the fat gut? I don't eat dreadfully, could eat a bit better, don't drink a hellofalot but enjoy a few every now and again including tonight half bottle of scotch blah blah. yeah want to lose the gut coz my wife hates it and is giving me sh*t about it. do I need to do cardio or weights? my dad has the same figure but when he wants to he goes off and does massif hikes like kilamanajro and sh*t and gets skinny.

ps. I'm serious what do you do to lose a gut?

I'm about 180 something tall and right now I'm 89kg. I fluctuate between 85 and 89kg and if I was 82 I'd be ok.
