I did my squatting today instead of waiting until tomorrow.

20kg x 5

60kg x 5

100kg x 5

120kg x 3

130kg x 1

140kg x 1

150kg x 3

I never squatted over 140kg before last week and this week I did 150kg for 3.

Gettin there, gettin there :)

I'm reloading the upper body and back this week with some light work and deloading on squats.

Fingers crossed that my shoulder will be good for next week to resume my regular programming. Haha even if it's not I can just keep doing lighter stuff while my squat progresses.

On the 19th of March I will be squatting 160kg for 1 to 4 reps (same program as the 150 for 3 I just did) and all going well I will be benching 125kg and deadlifting 195kg for the same rep range. There's obviously plenty of lighter and higher rep work done in between now and then.

Gettin there gettin there :training:

I'm doing it for no reason other than to not feel like my muscles are rebuilding again the day after (3x per week haha). You get so used to that feeling, though...

Back in the shed today for some weight lifting. Today is 4 sets of 6 squats and 2 sets of 6 deadlift with 132.5kg and 160kg respectively.

Tomorrow is bench and row, for 4 sets each of 10, 10, 8, 6, as well as shoulders and arms for 4 sets of 12, 12, 10, 8. My shoulder is still sore but hopefully has recovered enough. If not I'll just have to take another couple of weeks to a month off.

As far as programming goes I haven't upped the deadlift 1rm or the bench 1rm but I did up the squat 1rm for the next 6 weeks.

I've also done a mini cut for the past few weeks while I haven't been able to lift properly and have dropped to 101kg from 104.

So yeah...gettin there gettin there :headbang4:
