Try a 2 second pause, 2 inches off the ground, with 110kg for 3 sets of 8 on the deadlift immediately after a set of squats of 120kg x 10. Lemme know how you go ;)

No deal lol

Was so flat out all last week I didn't actually make it to the gym. Played squash once though and got squash on tonight and tomorrow night. 40 degree temps up here today and tomorrow too, so gonna be rather warm on the court, so some decent cardio at least. Hopefully this weekend should be a whole lot quieter, so can hit up the gym a few times.

found out just how practical the kettlebell strength was when cleaning the fark out of my apartment over the last three days due to landlord (legal) pressure (long story - not going into it). :)

Nice one. Lifting weights does have practical benefits :)

I just finished my squatting. 122.5kg for ten reps after a decent warm up.

I'm excited to get through the next month cos there are gonna be some gainz made.

I just came across this article. They reckon you can double your bench press.

Here is a quote from the article: "But if you're a mere mortal who's has been at it for a year or so, keep reading. "Double (Yes, Double!) Your Bench Press" is no clickbait or empty promise."

At the 12 month mark my 1rm will be about 160kg. I doubt I will double it but I spose I can try lol!!!

It should be a couple of years before I swap to advanced training techniques so I guess we'll find out :training:

Not that I think I'll do that in a couple of years lol.

Still lifting weights and still making gainzzz.

My energy levels felt pretty low due to lack of sleep, no breakfast and only one cuppa this morning but managed to get it done.

Lifting weights doesn't have to be fun to make gains.
