I just did 82.5kg for 14 reps on the bench. That puts me in the middle of the intermediate category.

I gotta add another 12.5kg to that to progress to advanced.

Although a 1rm should be calculated with 10 or less reps this puts me at 121kg 1rm. I'm pretty sure advanced is 138kg 1rm.

I've been putting off my workout today cos it's 37 degrees and the shed is even hotter.

It's time to suck it up and make some leg and posterior chain gains.

I just got back from Wynyard gym here in Sydney. Solid gym and quality workout. Have to be up nice and early to confirm registration for all of the bs that this trip entails. Oh well; could be worse. :showoff:

I wish I could get as excited about the gym as you guys, as I've got the frame to probably look pretty impressive if I was doing weights regularly...but I just can't even be farked most of the time.

You don't need to be excited to make gains man. You don't even need to be farked lol. Most days I'm just gittin er done.

If you put in a solid few months you will see all kinds of gains and by that stage it'll be a lot easier to remain consistent.
