I was training as heavy as I could with legs but found that I was just stressing my joints and lower back.

I dropped the weight by 40kg on my squat and leg press and focused on 15-20 reps and good contractions. I am getting better results and slowing lifting the weight back up to where I started before I had issues.

Now all my soreness is in the muscle and not joints which is much healthier.

Never have and never will wear gloves In the gym, gives you a false sense of grip and its for guys who want to keep there palms soft for masturbating, poofs. But I did wear wrists straps, got to a point I could not train without them.
