That's good there's no knee pain. As long as there is no pain, you should be good to increase the weight. I would focus on your hammies heaps more though as the muscle is has been weakened significantly. Pretty sure you had the hammy graft?

Yep spot on mate. Having been inactive for a few weeks I lost some mass through my calf and VMO region of the quad but the main concern for me lately has been rebuilding that medial hamstring group and Gracilis.

I might ask the phsio on friday about plate drags as they're probably a little safer if I cant do deads yet.

So did chest again today, this time off the smith machine..

Didnt do as big warm up, just 10x 60kg, then went straight to 7x 80kg, 6x 80kg, 7x 70kg after went back to 60kg and just did as many as I could.. I was concentrating more on form today and tried a few different grips..

Next session will be db bench, ive worked my way up from 20kg when I first started at gym to now 27.5kg which im happy about.. Gonna go for 30kg...

How do you find the smith machine compared to DB presses MiKa?

Well with Db presses I can't go as heavy as you have to keep everything stable and in control. if one arm is stronger than the other you quickly realize. (Dunno how to overcome this) Where as with the smith machine the weaker arm gets help from the stronger arm as its a straight bar, the weight can only travel up and down so your stabilizers don't come into play. The only advantage of the smith machine IMO is if your gonna go heavy to try it out on there first and to get some confidence that's what I did recently and I'm now lifting heavier and not stuck where I thought I wasn't ready to go heavier..
