IF is just what works for me.What was your diet like on IF? How many meals would you fit into your eating window? For me im gonna fasting from 8pm till midday the next day, then prob only have about 3 meals till I start fasting again.. Prob gonna have meat n veg for lunch, boiled eggs or omelette as a afternoon snack and meat and veg for dinner.. Weekends I know im gonna fail at this for sure, so im probably only gonna do it on weekdays..

Wingnut Member 573 Member For: 16y 4m 24d Gender: Male Posted 21/11/12 12:37 AM Share Posted 21/11/12 12:37 AM Dieting is about cal in v cal out well from what I could gather from my research. It seems too many people try and over complicate it with things IF or IIFYM. I guess it comes down to what ever helps you deal with the hunger and if it is starving then binging so be it haha. I just don't see a lot of really successful fitness / muscle people using "dirty" eating habits like IIFYM. I can't see the point in eating all your calories basically in junk through 1 or 2 small meals where I can safely pig out through the course of a day if I'm eating clean. Whilst putting on muscle. I have gone from 23% bf down to 9% and I am actually putting on weight now which I would assume is lean muscle. Maybe half a kg a fortnight but I'm happy with that!

Just need to change it up a bit I guess. My target weight is 100kg. But depending on how I look I may aim for 90.. As everyone says what works for you, im just trying something new and still eating clean. The way it makes sense to me is I have an 8 hr window in which I eat, midday till 8pm, which leaves less time to eat bad sh*t (in-between main meals) so I can eat cleaner. If this doesnt work for me or if I find my body doesnt like it ill stop easy as that..
Wingnut Member 573 Member For: 16y 4m 24d Gender: Male Posted 21/11/12 04:37 AM Share Posted 21/11/12 04:37 AM That's a lot of weight to lose mate. Not only what you already have but also what you want to achieve. Have you considered seeing a someone that can measure your vitals and put a meal plan together? You can get a rough understanding of your metabolic rate, add in your exercise, consume less calories than you burn and bam the weight WILL continue to drop. If you're platueing I would think its more what and how much rather than when and the frequency in which you do eat. But to be honest I would be more than happ if I was you and time will bring further results! Well done!

Things are progressing alot slower now and I know I havent been eating as clean as I used to, which has alot to do with it, but its hard to maintain eating as clean as I was lol.. Training is the easiest thing to do in the world the diet is the bitch. I have thought of seeing someone but wouldnt know where to start...
