trying to work out whether to group two together or go back to one body part per session.

How often you going to the gym Freaky? I've cut back to 3 days a week now that I'm working my two jobs again and I spend about 90mins to 120mins in there doing some of my rehab plus some upper body.

That should be plenty of time for you to focus on two muscle groups (say 2-3 exercises each muscle group) and also leave time to do something like an ab routine, legs or some cardio.

Not sure how everyone else does it but I have been going chest and bi's, back and tri's. If you do chest and tri's, back and bi's you're doubling up on exercises so you will get a better workout but you may struggle to get all your exercises finished.

I don't use straps but I find myself almost needing them for things like barbell and dumbell rows. I'm not the biggest guy and have a fairly sh*tty grip and find my weight is limited by what I can hold onto.

For example I could probably do 40kg dumbell rows but stay around the 32-34 range as I can't keep a good grip in the heavy ones so I'm more focused on that and not on isolating the muscle. Adam I'm sure you being a bigger guy with "bigger hands" would find it much easier than most to grip a heavy bar. No pun intended. But I might give the chalk a go.

Chalk is the answer. I've used it for everything from deads, to kroc rows to KB swings. And cheap as fark too. Try it .

It's really basic mate and you really don't learn much from books. It's like most things the more you do it the better you get.

I make my cooking really really simple more so for time saving. Get 3 heads of broccoli, cut then up and boil them until they are still firm but edible. While that's happening ill take 4 chicken breasts throw then in an over tray and cook on 180 for 15-20 mins. Once they are done ill let them cool slice them up and portion them I to my tubs with cooked broccoli. Then I just decide what flavour I want whether it be chilli, BBQ, Asian, plain, whatever.

I actually love cooking and do some real fancy sh*t at times but mon-fri it's all about convenience and after almost 10 months of up to a kg of chicken a day I'm not sick of it yet.

Would be better to steam your broccs than to boil Wingnut. You lose alot more of nutritional value when you boil.

Freaky..

My split for the most part is;

Chest, shoulders, tri's

Back, bi's

Legs, abs

Back

Chest

Bi's, tri's

That's my routine.. Gotta start doing shoulders and legs

Ohh, how many of you guys do dumbbell decline? How/what is the best/easiest way to pick the dumbbells up while lying down already? I always kill my shoulders trying to pick them up
