I mean you dont get the required amount in salads, a bit of this a bit of that doesnt cut it and you dont need the lettuce, doesn't do much if anyhing for you. Also if you're putting dressings on the salads, you're wasting your time eating it.Much better to have a serving of broccs.. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/78160-weight-training-for-beginners/page/217/#findComment-1301486 Share on other sites

Wingnut Member 573 Member For: 16y 9m 15d Gender: Male Posted 28/09/12 01:33 AM Share Posted 28/09/12 01:33 AM I have broccoli more so than salad. I eat a lot of protein not only because I like it but it naturally makes you feel fuller anyway. For most if not all my meals ill fry up some chicken breast, steam broccoli and once it's all cooked ill slice it up throw it in a pan with some oyster sauce, soy and chilli. Tastes amazing for a quick lean meal and really hasn't bored me after 6 months of making it a major part of my diet. Lil bit of fat is good fr recovery and growth too Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/78160-weight-training-for-beginners/page/217/#findComment-1301551 Share on other sites

Obviously they are going to help me shed body fat and reach my target % quicker but how will they affect my ability to build muscle? They seem like a good substitute to bringing packed lunches to work everyday.
