Had a good session tonight - smashed the deads, slight change in prep. Normally, like most people I'd have the bar on the ground. I found that it was becoming hard for me to lift heavier weight since I was basically folded over before reaching the bar. It was really hard to keep my back straight after a couple of reps. Tonight I put the bar on top of a couple of step up boxes so it was just above the middle of my shins. Made it so much easier to get good amounts of reps. Started on 70kg and went up 10kg each set after the second. So 70x5, 70x5, 80x5, 90x5, 100x5. I'll happily go up to 110kg for the next deadlift session.

Also stuck right through 8 minute super sets again tonight. 8kg DB Lunges x10 and 20kg kettle shrugs x10 for 8 mins. Next set was 16kg kettle bell swings and 41kg seated row, again 10x for 8 mins.

Starting to find that extra energy to push through the burn, really enjoying it now...

Haha, yeah I like it - a new gym opened up locally so my gym has gotten quieter - this is a good thing, it was starting to get packed which made it frustrating and hard to find your own space/equipment

Just gotta get back in the Pazz.. That's what I ended up dropping when I got sick so I know how you feel.

Doesn't take long to get back though

Got a mate you can go with Pazz? A bit of freindly ribbing and motivation always helps. My training did a full session with me last week to get me working hard, really helped to see someone else struggle with the same workout, lol! (he used a little more weight than me though...)
