Has alot of info and helped me alot. Google some workout routines, YouTube vids etc... Burn more calories than you take in and you will loose weight easy as that. The best way I have found and is working for me, a high protein diet, no sugar (not even fruit) and weight training with a bit of cardio thrown in is gettin me there.. Need to lose the gut and get some fitness back.

Lucky for me a mate of mine that used to work as a gym instructor has offered his personal gym to use for free and some one on one lessons to get me started. He said 3 x 1 hour sessions should be plenty for weights a week. Like to do more but I just done have the spare time with work.

I'll probably get the old mountain bike out and start doing my 15km circuits through Lysterfield Lake for part of the cardio. Should wreck me until I regain some lost fitness -_-

Never done weights in the past so this should be interesting. What does that mean to you? Put on a heap of muscle? Lose a ton of fat? Bit of both? Its very hard to structure a good routine and eating plan unless you have an end goal. Mine is to get to 85 kg with 10% body fat by 1ts April next year. I started at about 90kg and well over 20% April 1 this year, Im well on track and couldnt be happier

I'm only dead lifting 85-90kg when I do sets 5x5. I couldn't imagine lifting 150+ repetitively... Tomorrow nights session starts off with deads, one of my favourites...
