Its well known dead lifts thicken your core muscles midsection it affects some more then others, if you look at ronnies mid section when his not comp ready he has a huge guts and midsection some from growth hormones some from deads etc his only lean at like low bodyfat so if your an everyday person at say 10-15% body fat your not going to have a thin midsection like ronnie is on stage at 5-6% bodyfat that's just my 2 cents

true, but I dont look at todays pro's.... check out arnie, or franco columbu who could deadlift 700+lbs...they didnt have huge guts

if you have a huge midsection dont blame deadlifts...blame ronald mcdonald

No, I dont like the BMI. It claims I'm borderline overweight. And its not that I AM borderline overweight and just dont want to admit it - I wear a size 8 and im 5'6.

sounds like my last gf, same stats and because it said in the upper range for normal then she always wanted to lose more weight. To me a size 8 is tiny, but with body image being drummed into females from when the are pubescent and airbrushed models in every mag I guess it makes it harder to look in the mirror and be happy.

SHP Models dont even look like they do in the magazines. that's what makes it so terrible. I do my best to ignore it though. its hard to get out of that mindset.
