it sounds like your boost solinoid valve needs a good clean and a new fuel filter, from stock to 280ish u should have a fiar decent smile on the dial, my ba from stock to 260 was wicked with heaps of spin something sounds wrong

I'll get on to the boost solenoid on the W/E. New fuel filter on there before tune. I suppose I was expecting a bit more by comparing to all you people with your flash 98 fuel. I'll TRY getting hold of simon tomorrow, hes a very busy person from the impression I got. I dont doubt his expertise, as this is why I went there. I'll see if it can be tweaked for boost to hit harder.

Its also got 2x2.5 cat back and K&N panel as well but I dont think they would make much difference

Cheers

I prefer a smooth power, rather than a sudden surge. My old tune was too sudden, and not easy for the wife to drive, but my new tune has been wound back, and is very smooth to drive. Still goes very well.

My personal opinion, but I find these dyno figures all a bit of a wank. Driving feel is what its all about for me.

But, everyone is different. So dont flame me for having an opinion please :hang:

Can we see the before and after RWKW/PSI graphs? Torque as well probably.

Not just the 95ron holding you back, could be little to do with heat up your way, been mid to high 30's all week. Bet is Simon has made allowances in the tune for all of these things.

I don't think Ts "feel as fast" as what they are actually doing figures/power wise. Not saying they aren't (they are rockets!) just how they feel to drive.

I doubt the OP has a problem at all - just a sensible power curve for performance/reliability. Ts (tuned or otherwise) don't feel as fast as GTR/Sti/Evos etc IMO - down to weight/power delivery/ride height etc.

Just my 2 cents and in agreance with Dre's point earlier.......if you have moved up to a T they would feel fast no doubt, if you come from fast cars previously (especially lighter) they don't in comparison.

Hi

Yeah there's alot of valid points there in regards to weather and he knew I was from there so he probably wouldve taken that all into account, it does actually move fairly quick once on boost, just doesn't feel like it I suppose. It's only 270 odd kws so it's no rocket ship. I have Goodyear eagle f1 assymetric 2 tyres so they would help wheel spin issues too I suppose? I've had fairly little time to thrash it and the more I do the more used to it I get, re learning to drive it.

^ fast tunes rarely feel "fast" as they bring the power on progressively and maintain traction, but if your not happy im sure Simon will sort it.

Have you flashed any other tunes into in since it was tuned? Havent flashed a low boost tune in by mistake?
