Looks 100% stock other than under the car - I like keeping the old BA looking brand new! ha ha BF6 - a common problem with XForces, especialyl singles (twin sound a bit better). The bigger muffler (most likely the rear) removed more sound will result - so depending on how loud you want it will make that decision. Personally I would start with the centre out, so how that goes and if still not happy, put it back in and try the rear out (and use resis if required for a middle ground) Or go a custom set-up, they can be made to suit what you are after! CBXRT Banned 643 Member For: 14y 3m 4d Gender: Male Posted 16/12/11 03:22 AM Share Posted 16/12/11 03:22 AM BF6 take it back to where you had it done, say you aren't happy and is not what you asked for, and see what they can offer you - they might be able to do a great deal on the twin (and reuse the one you have) which will sound a lot better than the single. BF6 Member 333 Member For: 14y 3m 22d Gender: Male Posted 19/12/11 12:39 PM Share Posted 19/12/11 12:39 PM Made a phone call to xforce the other day and told them about my new system that came with a rear muffler dated 2008. Told them how the car sounded horribly choked and whistled liked crazy under hard acceleration. They informed me how that muffler is no longer used to it's poor flowing design and that the new ones are much improved. Cut longer story short the new muffler arrived by lunch time the following day and just by looking at it was a much straighter and hi flowing design. Fitted it up that arvo and what a difference! Car sounds great on idle and mean on boost. Nice tough sound all round and no drone. Not sure how I ended up with a muffler dated 2008 on a brand new system in the first place but a big thanks to xforce for changing it over the following day!
