So the front and rear stay at the original torque value. I guess when you torque the rest down that extra bit it probably raises the torque on the end ones to match or be somewhat close.

The holes in the head gasket are not the same as in the block and the head. The cold side ones are blocked and a couple of the hot side ones only have a small hole. I guess they do that to control the temps on the head. I read in a forum that someone drilled theirs out but they probably made a mistake I'm guessing.

I got that torqing info today from the local ford too and it's starting to confuse me. The instructions on the gasket are different again. What do I do?

Hey mate, haha yeah, motor is assembled now. Fingers crossed when it fires up.

Thanks for offering the help but I've never been known for my patience :)

It's got all the BF head stuff so it's pretty much a BF now with Spool rods.

Lol it should fire up fine and run around ok for a while but with 20psi boost I wouldnt hope for reliability, good luck! I guess im in a similar predicament running over 500hp thru bf1 rods lol

I think a little oil may have come out of the head when assembling the head and gasket to the block. Will this cause trouble?

It did say to have the surfaces clean in the instructions.
