Can tell you for sure no F6 engine has forged pistons factory from ford, and the 2 dipstick holes are for the lpg engine as they use the old manifold off the BA/BF.

FG f6 has mahle forged pistons. Ford made a big deal about the fact when fg was released.

Nope I work at ford and I've had to replace pistons on a couple of these engines they are definately note forged, and think about forged pistons are noisy do you really think ford would set themselves up for complaints about knocking noises when cold I think not. And anyone who's had a engine with forged piston will know what they sound like granted some are louder than others but they are noisy not quite like a stock engine.

Plenty of factory cars come with forged pistons these days. It's not a big deal. Fg f6 has them to the best of my knowledge. I've never personally pulled one down but pretty sure mahle got the job on this one.

To my knowledge the fg f6 does have mahle forged pistons, this also justifies the 6-800 dollar retail price difference between the short motors
