hello mate I just put a FG F6 long motor in my BA the only thing you need to change is sump.

Yes they have Forged pistons from Mahle and the rods are the same as normal turbo, stronger than the old ones from early Ba's. little bit different in compression and the cams are a little different two. big $$$ I hope it was worth it.

if you are going to tune it a cheap investment is to change oil pump gears.

thecook, did you have to modify the RH(turbo side) engine mount bracket to get it to fit up to the block?

I had a very mild tune put in, so shouldnt be any problems. Has a very smooth spread of power, unlike my previous engine that came on like a sledge hammer(and went bang like one) :hang:

What, the old tune, or the new one? Bruce did the old tune, and had the new one done down here in Mount Gambier

by the dyno man at Repco Auto care. They have a Mainline 4wd dyno, inground setup.

They fitted the new engine for me as well. Seems to know his stuff. They use HP tune, and VCM.
