Probably good for 400, doesn't mean it's not going to explode.

And how many btr's let go just over 300 compared to ZF's and T56?

If I found out later people were advising me to buy the weaker of two engines/gearbox's I'd be a little annoyed, wouldn't you?

Lol you edit, I edit.

He's on his p's man. Why spend money on a 6k fg engine when you can spend 2 and another 2 on rods and pistons and end up with sometging stronger than fg.

I guess I gotta decide my budget...and the power I want to achieve in the end....

I guess id say my goal is the 400rwkw mark so probly fg is the way to go?

You have what you need.

To get a reliable 400 and doing it all right the first time. Get an Atomic rebuild kit, their oil pump and feeds to the crank. Rods, pistons and valve springs. If you want 400+

If you want a nice everyday car 300 - 320. And your on a tight budget. You have the motor that will do that. Buy a used turbo and plumbing stuff from the classifieds on here. Same goes for exhaust cooler blah blah. Get it through the RTA inspection. Have some fun when you get it back. Learn to drive it properly.

If you want more power (and you always will) then save up and have fun blowing it up @ the track and have fun putting all the expensive stuff in then.

BA motors and gearboxes are not weak...... ha ha. In fact, treated well they should last almost forever (bar bad luck, or poor maintenance - which counts for most failures). Its only when extra power is poured in they don;t stand up. Compared to other brands on the road they are very strong.

Edit - now I know he wants 400 reliably obviously FG/ZF is a far better option and worth the extra $$ no question at all

Hey cutie.

The lpg motor has the stronger rods that typhoons come with, and different valves afaik.

I would buy a clapped out ba wreck an start converting everything over.

And label everything!

LOL at cutie, And yes henz he is a cute young man trust me :girlhospital:
