If its a project just buy the cheapest wreck you can find. Build the bottom end, then move everything across. Best way to learn and will be cheaper than buying everything separately.

Just think about what tranny you want because if you get a 4sp auto or manual and later decide you want a ZF you may as well start again.

yehh ive decided the plan for it is to strip down the car, buy a written off or flooded xr6 turbo which ill use for parts, take the engine, trans, diff etc and resell whatever parts I dont need and put em on the current car.

should the chassis still be strong considering its done 700,000kms?

sweet yeh ill be buying brand new urethane bush kits for the front and rear suspension, new brakes etc

The lpg motor has the stronger rods that typhoons come with, and different valves afaik.

I would buy a clapped out ba wreck an start converting everything over.

And label everything!
