Hi all, its finally here..... our new xr6 t is being prepared for me now to pick up later and I cant wait....

Its amazing u know....finally getting the3 car of my dreams and I couldnt be happier, however the ford market on trade ins suck big time hey...

I traded in an Au2 S pak 5/00

tickford wheels

sillouette

5 speed manual

all extras

50,000 on the clock

ppl I tell u this car was spotless and a pleasure to drive and loved it to peices, however the power of the new xr6t grabbed me big time and I let the s pak go as I couldnt wait and just wanted the turbo then and there...sure there was no match in class here, however the fact that I got offered 13,500 for it was harsh I thought, considering I paid 21.000 for it 7 months earlier...... the market sucks....

Any how I think I got a good deal on the xr6t overall with leather trim, 18's premieum sound, sports steering wheel...extras all on road costs inclusive..

for a change over of 34,500.... please tell me I didnt get ripped here....

cheers

I just traded in an AUII XR6 with lots of extras and Herrod bits. This car just turned two years old has only done 27000 kms.

It didn't have a scratch on it and no wear and tear either inside.

I was offered $18000 first up and finally got $22000.

I love the XR6T that I've bought and it will be delivered in two weeks, but I will always look back on my AUII and shake my head at how much I lost on it.

But then, cars aren't an investment no matter how you look at it.

Sold my AU11 XR6 VCT to the dealer , 3 years 52Ks on it and the worst case of brake shudder on the planet for 23 grand .Residual on the novated lease was 16k so I pocketed 7 k , so I was pretty happy with that.
