Driving 5 hours for a tune on E85 stopping at blaxland in nsw to fill up 3 20l jerry Tin's for the dyno tune, any tips to ensure my cars ready? I have the 60lb injectors pw surge tank valve springs in a ba! Currently tuned on 98 300rwkw what should I expect as a maximum safe drag tune?

60lbs wont cut it unless you tune with a 50/50 mix, if your looking at using it as a daily then upgrade your injectors.

I would not tune with a mix unless I was filling up at the same gas station with both fuels.

Spiro would probably advise you use twin pumps if using straight E85.

You should get around 30-50 rwkw more with the E85.

Good luck and post up the results.

mix is win if your tuner can grasp the concept !!! and if u only use it on say weekends because yes it can get a bit mind boggling for the tards to work out if your not empty lol

mix will take your fuel system extremely far 430 ish on 60lbs and wait for it....................................1 044

I think his tuner his very capable Jet but he would still not recomment 1 044 on straight E85, may be for security reasons.

Kosij I do not see you making 430 on the Autotech Dyno.

ud be supprised the excuses tuners come up with why they wont tune on mix lol

yeh either way a fuel system can be made the most out of on mix so u dont have to keep putting your hand in the pocket especially when most have done a serious amount of cash on a set of mods then to be told u have to up grade half of it again just to run e85 pft I say mix it up and have the best of both worlds enough octaine to poke timing at wile enough 98 to keep it all safe
