ethanol by nature is harder to ignite than 98 even if the tune is 100% spot on. Not every owner is fussy as each other with their cars, some will put up with bad manners in the pursuit of power but tell every one how perfect their car is, some times trying to kid themselves other times is because they have no idea that it's not right

that's why if you read my post earlier on, on this topic I have changed my tune back to 98 tune over winter, because of the hard starts in cold mornings, back to E85 in summer :good: sweet roll on summer!!

my car starts after about 5 or 6 turns :)... but im using eflex which doesnt have as much ethanol content as the united.

I tested the fuel this morning and it came in at 73%, like always.

my car is tuned running E85 if I use the eflex my car runs like cr*p cause of the it has less ethanol in it, so yeah I agree Kroozin

Mine starts first go, no matter how cold, might be due to the higher fuel content in the eflex.

Possum are the ones that are harder to start running the United?

Most of the cars tuned at nizpro are on united and start first if not second go.

Daves focus would always start first go on Eflex but now on united its slightly harder but no more than 2 go's

The car I'm talking about is nizpro tuned. Maybe e85 at Frankston is 90 like others + 5 degree night = bad mix.

If your mates having that much trouble starting it, just tell him to call Dave and have a look at it, I'm sure it's a quick fix surely??

I was at Dynomite last night and Dion got a call from the head of united about the price dropping to $1.05 as per BFXR6TURBOMAN'S post.

Apparently it's meant to stay like that more a while.
