How come only a 1.73, was the track sh*t.

I ran one of jamies customers cars with about 400 maybe a touch less & on 18' mt's it went 1.6 flat & 11.01. Would of 10'd but it needed a transtune, it dropped off pretty hard. There awesome to launch on e85, they seem to pull up really fast on the converter.

A 1.6 would net me a10.5, maybe next year, Willowbank is prepped more often than WSID to my knowledge

mine only went 1.7 because no port/flapper mod ........still stock so it doesnt build boost on the stall quick and when it does its 22psi straight up so I had the play the game with it and still have one broken tailshaft in the back of my mind so it was cautious all the way mate

next year ill do the flapper and a built box and shaft and go from there

Willowbank when its good its good when its crap its crap. after jamboree this year it was down hill abit, had a couple of scary moments in my own car but nothing a couple of pedels didn't sought out.

I understand why it would be in the back of ya mind. I only drove old mates car cause he wanted to see if it was him or the car but before I got in there I asked, does this have a built box? yes, does this have a built tailshaft, yes, ok sorry for what im about to do to ya car lol. It was the first time id driven the car & first time id driven a std turbo car in 3 year but it was so easy compared to my contanceress b1tch. Skid the crap out of it, handbrake footbrake feel it want to go & then gooooone. I recon there was a low 1.5 in it with another run or two & a set of 17's

Ya should run alot further into the 10's with abit more control on the line

Yeh id hope so aswell its just a pain as its also my daily so I always take it easy where as if I got a back up car id just go for gold and hopefully take a tenth or two off

With the stock port/flap its tuned to not explode instead of where it should be cause 22psi is just crud when not matched with correct timing but it was one of those rush last min jobs so I could race that weekend

Good to hear, with that mph & potential for a 60ftr improvement theres a 10.7 without anymore power. Lets see what 2013 brings then :)

curious to know when tuning on e85 will I need a secondary 044 or upgraded fuel rail or will my setup flow fine for 410-420rwkw which is the single pump surge tank setup 044 with bosch ev14 1000cc squirters?
