Excess fuel is great for removing heat, I personally run fairy fat mixtures....with e85 the latent heat of vaporization is quite high so you can tune leaner. e85 is also more forgiving and makes consistent power over a greater lambda range.I can post a graph of a BF making 530hp with 10.0 AFR's on a stock GT3582r at 19psi. Nothing wrong with a rich mixture at very high loads IMO. Obviously you can go too far....but I personally never go leaner than 0.82. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
