Yeah when the pumps where out to replace the stock clogged filter

Are ok

I can do it again if you like?

Also don't forget my cars at 180000kms so it's bound to have some wear on parts

At 12 to 1 comp you would be running far more efficiently than 9 to 1

You can simply get more efficiency than a petrol motor. Not better economy

Yeah I don't see how it could really be called more efficient overall when you need to squirt in 30% more or something to make the same power?  It just allows a higher ceiling for power on a given car?

 

I am with you on supporting local production though instead of sending dollars overseas!

Not semantics

As you know there is less energy per litre of ethanol compared to petrol

But hp/kj ethanol is more efficient on a properly setup engine
