Iv used E85 in my old car for over 5 years now..(NB: the fuel is run 100% of the time and been stored for months at a time at stages without starting)

Im unsure of the competitors as listed BUT the old hose I used to run throughout the car has been flawless over this time..

Im 95% sure it was Goodyear hose (Blue hose with lined section halfway thru) and im sure any hose with a Teflon style insert/liner will be sweet and prevent swelling and seepage, which is the ONLY issue when using incompatible hose..

Reason I'm asking is basically being told will need

Process West surge, twin 460's, regulator and single rail or twin.

Why does everybody on here run surge tanks? Other people I know only run em if they are doing hard track work and when cornering their car starts to run lean

Have you looked at the design and shape of the fuel tank. If they had designed the tank to take fuel away from the pump under acceleration they couldnt have done a better job than what they did. Probably OK for taxi drivers though.

Correct.

It has become standard thinking.

No other manfacturer world wide has surge tank set ups.

The shape of the fuel tank has no effect on a correctly set up intank system. Even for tight track work on minimal fuel.

I thought the tank design was not too bad. That bit under the seat is a bit of a surge tank itself provided you are more than 1/4 full. Nevertheless external surge tanks are not the best way, especially cause they just heat and recirculate the same fuel.

Depends who you talk to haha, I purchased KPM's twin intank fuel module and it hasn't skipped a beat so far, 2-3months of abuse, e85, 98, no surge around Wakefield with 5-10l in the tank, zero noise and cool fuel
