That's 100% best way to go mate! Just wasn't sure if you wanted to spend the $$ and didn't wanna be pushy.

Take note though, the surge needs some slight adjustments to fit! Unless you run external tranny cooler.

Just asked Pete, 450rwkw with an external reg on that pump. Surprised me.

Would be close to its limit me thinks....though then again some people are claiming 450kw on a single 044! Not sure what voltage the pumps are seeing.

Apparantly Nizpro told him 470 would be it's limits. I'm not sure what Nizpro's "safe" is, they're building motors flat bikkies these days.

This is the best way to get increased flow out of the pump

I used a Kenne-Belle boost-a-pump over 15 years ago on an 044 and works great.

I had the ECU trigger a relay that switched over to the higher voltage at RPM and boost. It only ran at 18+ volts whilst on boost. Otherwise just ran on the existing voltage at othertimes.

The thing is if anything fails you aint gonna hurt the engine. If the voltage booster fails, just engine cut. If the pump fails, engine cut. Running more than 1 pump is just risky.

I cant remember how much extra flow I got but it was alot,

I think I'm gonna get this product for my FG

the last car we fitted the voltage controller is still operating fine with the A1000 and has done maybe 20-30k since the install

Why was the voltage controller installed Mick?

To keep the noise down?
