You could run one, but it would not have all the functions the standard ecu does.

that's Jets besty in the vid.........lol

I actually had a chat with the owner one night at WSID, he was very happy with it.

the eflex at girraween gave up a vortex98 tank for there eflex where as the united I was using gave up there diesel tank.

wonder if united/caltex will freely give out the information on what the tanks used to be?

it makes sense that the diesel could be linked to the contamination.

I actually had a chat with the owner one night at WSID, he was very happy with it.

do you know what sort of times it was running?

Don't the plug in and play units keep the factory ECU and act as a "piggy back" style ECU ?

What's the story with inter coolers and exhausts on e85 ?

With cooler fuel and intake charge. Can ppl use smaller inter coolers to off set this ?

As with exhaust , a lot more condensation in the exhaust , mild steel might rust out prematurely?

Flame me if I am off track

Depends on how much power you are chasing , if your intercooler is too small it will become a flow restriction. And yes I think most people go with stainless when choosing an exhaust when they run e85

I think offset is the wrong word. Cooler inlet temp is a good thing and a good quality cooler will only make it better.

What it will allow, is good power on a cheaper cooler, size still matters. Eg twin cam xf, massive power on cheap eBay cooler
