Not much difference in price between 1 or 2 044's or a single A1000, it will cost you alot more to rebuild your engine

if it leans out due to fuel starvation.

Most guys here are happy to spend the extra for the safety factor

but each to there own. I really enjoy threads like this as they are entertaining and helpfull.

Matty, we both knew there had to be a reason for the loss in power, you going back to Dale's?

im not denying that safety is better than a rebuild but my point is people were saying its not possible... also ... I know personally 4 people in this scenario who have a single 044 who have over 400 (backed up by mph or on dynos) and they have flogged the crap out of it and nothing is wrong.....or any sign of it... just saying

Was also looking at the Zeitronix unit, how accurate is it Brian as when I saw it on youtube it varied on the same tank.

Interested to know how you find it

I only had it fitted last week. I had bought 8 * 20 litre containers, and so far that batch has been consistently reading 76/77.

I might then run my tank right down and test out 20 litres of Caltex to see what it reads.

The video I saw on youtube showed a tank of standard fuel being replaced with E85, and it showed the E content changing real-time.

I think the E85 debate will move off whether 1 or 2 pumps are required, and move more towards AFR's that work well for spool-up and power, as well as fuel quality.

We are still very limited for tuning in the Ford world.

It would be very good to have true Eflex capability and dynamic map switching, instead of fl reflashing.

For example the Vipec ecu that I have in my ecu has real-time ecu adjustments, so it can automatically adjust fueling and timing for any fuel, as the Zeitronix can send a voltage signal to the ecu according to the ethanol content.

Hey BCL is it just the 3 components needed for this rig. Im adding it up to 588bux if that is all that's needed?

Thanks

Just check out the web site.

Very easy install. Plug into the fuel return line. Most would install in the engine compartment.

is your R35 on e85 Brian? or going to be?

Not currently.

I have seriously considered it. Injectors and fuel pump and remap are easy.

I'm already running Ecutek. Check the link below to see what is possible. In the Ford world we are really starved of features.

ref http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?/topic/69896-now-offering-staged-ecutek-flashes-w-cable-e85-package-available/

On the R35 you can dynamically flip a switch to change between 98 & E85 maps.
