Hi everyone my name is Emile and I am from New Zealand. I have been following this forum for just over 2 years now and this is my first post. I have got a bit of a different project in the fact I have repowered another make of car with the XR6 turbo engine. (It is a dedicated race care) If you think I should not post here I understand and just let me know.

I have been building it for just over 2 years myself at home with the help of a couple of friends and last weekend was the first start up so very excited.

I also have a black BA Turbo Falcon that is my wife's car, witch she allows me to drive occasionally.

Hi, not 100% sure of what circuit racing I will do, but would really like to do an endurance event at some point. Have quite a few pics of the whole build so will upload a few more. No idea of power yet, and have no expectations, will be going to get tuned in a couple of weeks if all goes to plan as still have have a couple thing to finish on the car before 100% complete.

Its in a R32 Nissan Skyline 4 door.

I bought the engine first and then decided what to put it in, I picked up this automatic 4wd nissan rolling body and set to making it fit.

The engine is a non turbo Ba engine, I went for the non turbo as the one in the car cost $300 from a wrecker and by the condition it is in has done far less than 100000km like new inside. I plan on building one capable of big power but that will come, to this engine I have only done valve springs. A friend of mine made the exhaust manifold, intake plenium, exhaust and all the nicely welded bits.

Hase a 4'' stainless exhaust with 1 muffler on the back

Yeah that is one of the reasons I went for it and there a plenty of suspension parts available, also being a 4wd body it has the big GTR rear end. (It is not 4wd anymore) just let me know if you want to see any car related photos.

With the non turbo engine I am expecting to throw a rod out the side if pushed. It is running a Link Extreme ecu and I am still running the e throttle, currently I dont have a working pedal as the one I have has a faulty position sensor, I do have a new sensor but have not set it up yet. I does start with no throttle straight off the button though just have not been able to give it a rev.

The fuel system

1 x warlbro lift pump feeding surge tank

2 x Bosch 044 feeding into 1 -10 line with a - 8 return

They feed into a twin exit fuel filter to the factory modified fuel rail (end & centre feed) returning out the end and into the regulator. I would have liked to feed to the ends but there was just not the room.

All fittings and line a Aeroquip pushlock

I have overkilled the fuels system but I wanted to future proof it and I plan to run E85.

Thanks, has been alot of work, forgot to mention the injectors are modified factory non turbo ones.

Started at 250cc I think and when finished flow 720cc, have put a cap on them to get the flow pattern will upgrade to some large aftermarket ones down the line.

The turbo is a Schwitzer with a Tial 60mm wastegate

I will get the exhaust manifold HPC coated once I confirm the turbo does what I want, really hoping it wont be to laggy
