if you have an original Xcal 1 (the small box type with the led's rather than a screen) it can not be communicated with anymore so it can not be used.

If you have an Xcal 2 you can use it as long as you have a manual, if you have a ZF auto you need a flash 3

This is the best resource on the planet. for XR6Ts and derivatives. BA's are nearly 10 years old and starting to have drama's

My advise read heaps and find yourself a good tuner

Great advice Buf - 100% agree. I read it all and my 180K BAT still runs sweet and still gives any fast (bar the top-end) a decent run.

APART from idiot me not reading the turbo threads!! Would have saved me 1.8K in replacement turbo, earls line and fitting - stock oil line jammed (very common, especially without enough oil changes) which would have been a $150 upgrade if knew in advance...... :hang:

Unless you mod to suit the XCal dont do it, plenty of blown engines/trannies (not that kind...lol) on here if not done with all the safety gear - not saying dont tune, saying do it properly :sungum:
