Yeh unfortunately my interstate mechanics wont touch anyyhing private let alone in qld.im getting the 100k km one checked out on monday as the lower km one wont budge on price...its all good..ni havent heard of one of the machinrs severly breaking as of yet!

At 100,000kms you can bet the stock shocks are fairly stuffed, diff bush, the shock tower bushes which rattle over small bumps (so annoying...), brakes could need doing, engine bay likely to be grubby and will need a good ol' drop of all fluids, replace plugs, filters etc just to be on the safe side.

It has done 450-500km every week of its life. I'd go the lower kms one. Seriously though mate, why jump now? Why not wait til the one you want comes up? $30k on a car should be taken seriously, dont just buy one of whatever is available this week. I waited months before the right car came up.

Hey camdawgs,

I would go the R-spec, if the dealer is willing to lower the price you will have money to fix any annoying little problems that are there, and if anything big like the diff bush is shot you can get the dealer to fix it under warranty.

And just remember its what makes you happy, you have to walk out and look at your car every morning, so if its not what you really want then dont do it.

Yeh I opted not to purchase either of these.the lower km one would not budge on price and the other one h! Im looad done too many km"s for my liking ( I just wanted reasdurance). this time of year is a great time to be buying cars.simply said...these cars.just arent selling! im looking at a few now that I love the colour combos and km"s. and just throwibg the dealers up to 5k less than they are asking!! Im in A good position right.now so im jst waiting it out. my mechanic is lookibg at one interstate for me tomoz that im really keen on but im not gonna budge on price.I will b estatic of I get my vehicle b4 xmas
