That's one of the two things I can think of.

Or one of the updates they put in the ECU made my car run a bit leaner.

Next time I'll try 15w40 Mobil1 and see how that goes.

Can't you get the A/F ratio logged during a dyno run? If so, it may be worth doing another dyno run to check it out.

what do you use to clean the exhaust?

I want to clean ours on wednesday next week for the formal...

Also, what do you guys use for the dash and tyres to clean em

I just use the same stuff I wash the car with on the exhaust tip, it does the job fine. As for the dash it's Meguiars UV vinyl protectant, I don't want the sun hurting my baby. The tyres get cleaned with the same stuff as the rest of the car and then given a coat of Meguiars Endurance Hi Gloss Tyre Gel, it's great stuff!

Hope this all helps Glenn

I'm averaging around 17.5 litres per 100k's and can't seem to get below that...(need to go to the Doctor I think I have a problem with my right foot) and the exhaust tip is as black as they come - just approaching 6000 k's.

OK, here's a trilogy.

1 Cro, don't be 2 concerned bout the tip. If they reflashed the ecu, chances are you are now running leaner. Also, I note that a lot of your recent 3 tanks of driving has been highway work. I don't think it would be running too lean. The synthetic oil will also run cleaner due to less carbon.

2 IF your temp guage is running hotter than normal, b concerned. Petrol vehicles run hotter when you lean them out, cooler when you run them rich. Diesels are the opposite.

3 As for cleaning the tip, I always use steel wool soap pads (no name OK) on chrome tips. My old rex was used in numerous weddings and always came up a treat. Just don't use them on anything else on the car!

One of those tanks was at wakefield where I was averaging 30L per 100kms...

Weird.

Rowlan...sick picture I know...

All true though.

MMMM, you would expect Wakefield to show some sort of deposit inside the exhaust. My cars always have. Might be worth a call or drop in to any dealer... Let us know the results.

Mine goes grey after it backfires every now and then......

Other than that, a nice shade of black. Fuelk economy is VASTLY improved after the ChipTorque mods. Way more grunt AND better fuel economy on cruise - what more could you ask for???
