had A 4x4 on my tail this arv leaving work. he sat there for a good K in the pouring rain mind you. So I let him stay there and I did 60 ks in 3rd all the way down the M1 entry ramp until the very end and gave it a gutfull till the 100. Im sure he found it difficult to merge at half the highway speed in his truck

I doubt these soccer mums who are the worst offenders even know what theyre avg fuel economy is, let alone a slipstream lol

Sometimes I have to drive near the MLC School in Burwood around the school start/finish times for work and my god are there some bad soccer mums. They are either the type who just pull out in front of you without looking or they start to pull out before looking, realise there's a car and stop with their nose blocking half the road.

I really cant believe how many people still speed through the school zones including the soccer mums and dads. Saw a young lady this morning on the highway almost pull out infront of a range rover. He was doin about 130k, she started pulling across without indicating or even looking. I decided she was not good to be near so got in front of her and to my amazement she still pulled out directly behind with out giving even a car length gap and with out indicating again. Idiot

Haha back when I was working for the government we did a speed study around school zones an you'll be happy to know the average soccer mum only speeds after she's dropped off her kids.. So once her kids are safe... f*ck everyone else's..

My dad was driving his Rodeo across the west gate one arvo trying to get back to Geelong, and for once the West Gate was actually moving at a decent speed, until he got near the Williamstown exit and all of a sudden it ground to a halt. For once my dad wasnt tailgating (I hated getting in his car - he used to do it all teh time) but a woman in a corolla behind him was, and she hadnt noticed he was slowing down. When she did, it appears she accidentally hit the accelerator and not the brake, as she hit the back of dads ute so hard that the tray ended up sitting on her bonnet, with his rear wheels off the ground.

The good thing about it is that no one got hurt, and dad finally learned tailgating was bad, even though he wasnt at fault. I still wont let him drive my car though.

I was tailgating a 4wd drive once back when I was a p plater on the way up to the blue mountains. He was going pretty fast so I thought I was being heaps cool by staying on his arse. Suddenly he slammed on his breaks and the back window lit up with blue and red lights.. Unmarked police car! He drove off and I drove like miss daisy all the way up to the mountains.

Your very lucky pharkit.

I approve of this thread, it is a stereotype that its women in 4wd's. But it's just so true it's not even funny.

I am gonna test the headlight's trick. I think about break testing but if I got damage on my car, I think I would cry knowing I hurt my baby purposely. In works Expensive Daewoo utes, it's not a problem though.
