Ok the clutch is a stage 5 mal wood dual plate organic compisite rated for 550rwkw and also the mal wood shifter the total price was $3080 but there are other options the clutch alone was I think be memory 2280 plus instalation and the shifter was near 400 I think im not 100% sure. Mick and Belinda at Pitlane are the best people to talk too .. I reckon they did a great instaltion job ..... 100% recomend them

Yes, I saw this beast next sitting out front next to mine on Friday when I was picking it up. Looks tuff as anything, not over the top, the way I like.... and when I was told the power it made from just a tune...top marks all round

I got on the phone to the missus and said 'I'm looking at my next car'..

what car is yours ? a orange or yellow ute?

What difference is the mal wood shifter itself? Shorter or something? Got pics of how it is now?

the mal wood shifter just has stronger springs in it and it slams into to gear quicker its also a little bit shorter but not a huge amount I think it was worth it

Thanks for the support and guidance guys!!! unfortunately I wont be hitting the track any time soon, as the scrutineer told me I couldn't take my car down

as it was too fast (not time but MPH) and required a 4 point harness. So this being the appropriate thread, my next mod is to find a good 4 point harness

(2 1/2 in - 3 in wide) and without ripping the car apart. A bit devo seeing it was my first time and I cant take it back in a hurry lol! anyway as promised below is a link to a run and there are more in the channel.

So when are you buying that carton for us all considering you and the beast were in the Northern Services Courier (page 11)?

I'm heading to watch the Townsville Drags tonight for the Winter Classic. Hopefully the rain will stay away seeing as its been sunny without a cloud for 2wks!

I've sent a few text messages to some other members if anyone wants to meet up out there...I will be there around 6-6.30pm

What is the gs/gt like driving every day with that kind of power?... those who's are making 380 at the treads? is that more than enough?..

some people say enough is never enough but for me, not being able to get power down would probably get on my nerves sometimes when u just wanna smash the dude next to u in his rice burner..

At what power levels do these become un driveable so to speak?

I don't think the power level matters.. More how the car is tuned to deliver it..

Also for some people 400 is fine for a daily..

For others 300 is too much for a daily..

All depends on the person..
