Hello Everyone,

This is my first post however I have been visiting the forum for a couple of weeks. I am hoping to get an xr6t blueprint ute although the local dealer tells me 6 month delay :( Anyway I was driving in Pascoe Vale Melbourne yesterday and came across a guy who in his brand new xr6na ute, had met rather heavily with a road side post box and torn the nose off the front end and looked like heavy damage to the passengers front quarter.

Anyway I just felt compelled to log on and share this with you all, and if the guy is a member here all I can say is sorry dude and I hope it all works out for you. Drive safe everyone and enjoy your cars.

I agree, I've seen a 3 month old TS50 with the front smashed in and the two front wheels torn out of alignment with major damage across the entire right side to the tail of the car...and it was not even the fault of the driver. Also, I've seen a BA XR6 NA with the front smashed in too, busted the front bodykit and I'm not at all suprised if the radiator's gone as well as the front portion of the engine block.

Take care guys, with greater power comes greater responsiblity.

Yeah dude,

Welcome aboard

Yeah, you hope that people really know what they are doing and know how to recover their powerhouse of a vehicle once thrown into the unexpected.

I love seeing people have fun with their toys but yes. That "Spiderman" quote is soooo true....lol. :D "With great power comes great responsibility".

You see so many idiots act like heroes all the time and you really hope nothing bad happens to them. Guys, be careful.

I was amazed how responsive our quarter of a day old BA XR6 NA is and this is in a car with only 38 k's on the clock? (15 k's when we took delivery). For some of you guys jumping into these Barra240T's, I hope you don't do anything you will regret further down the road.

Take care..

More testing required?

Anyway good advice have fun but be careful.

My friend works for state emergency sevices and got a call to the great ocean road near lorne where a xr6t was written off. The driver was sent to hospital with minor injuries and two passengers walk away un harmed. My friend ask the driver whos car it was and he said it was his dad's car. Its only two weeks old and my parents went away on a holidays. My dad knos I took the car but doesn't know I stacked it. Least everyone was ok.

Hate to tell my old man that I killed his car.

Too all owners these cars are not toys and are very easy to get out of shape on the road so try not to be rally car drivers. Just remember you share the road with others not by yourself. Beleive me I learnt the hard way and after few loss of licence im sure you will releize
