timetaker Donating Members 217 Member For: 14y 3m 24d Gender: Male Posted 14/11/11 06:33 AM Share Posted 14/11/11 06:33 AM Yep...my first "hiccup" with the car.I noticed yesterday(Sunday) that the wipers were struggling to wipe my windscreen.I went to my dealership today to find out about the problem and they said they have to replace the wiper motor!Whoever supplies the wiper motors to Ford needs a good talking to.Just the other day I was singing the praises of the car to friends and now this rather stupid and embarassing fault happens!Anyway,it will be replaced tomorrow. I think they source all of their parts from the absolute cheapest supplier. I know for a fact that they pay less than $2 each for the BA BF FG front speakers in the so called premo sound so the wiper motors are probably less than $10, main thing is that they replace it for you and away you go. timetaker Donating Members 217 Member For: 14y 3m 24d Gender: Male Posted 16/11/11 06:34 AM Author Share Posted 16/11/11 06:34 AM The dealer replaced the wiper motor and I've noticed that on the low setting it seems faster.Overall I quite happy with the quality of the car .I haven't noticed any quality issues regarding panel fit or paint work.The interior seems to have been fitted well,probably the only thing that stands out is a very slightly squeeky drivers seat.
