I bought an XCal3 so I'm a lucky one but it could easily have been an XCal2 back when I bought it in 2008/early 2009 before any of this sh!tstorm. It seems to make the conventional wisdom of fit all parts and tune once ring even more true...but woe to those that need a retune when something breaks, they will be the big losers. Cummon sniper/open source tuning!! : /

what astounds me is the lack of a heads up on this one at least with Xcal 1 we new it was coming.

This smacks of blatant profiteering from both SCT and tuners alike as they have kept it quiet as well

Not a good look for either IMO , unless I'm missing something , but I think not.

farkin reeks

Why is it some think there is some conspiracy theory behind everything ?

Tuners are not consulted to most things that happen, only given info when we have to pay for updates!

I found out about this on wednesday when trying to update a tune for a guy that had purchased a car we had previously done. I think it has something to do with the file size with the ZF data is now too big for the X2 to load

Thanx Mick

Understand the members frustration when their hard earned has in some cases been wasted

and have again been forced to fork out again on a product they bought in good faith

If tuners were not made aware shame again on SCT, as you poor guys will get it in the neck from consumers

And no conspiracy , just calling it how it looks. Disgraceful and I would fully expect an explanation from Rob Herrod

and SCT to members. To find out 2nd hand is total BS.

Sorry, but business practices of this nature gets the hair on my back up ( plenty of it to LOL)

Edit . More than happy to step into both the wholesaler but more particularly the supplier on behalf of members

Who will no doubt vent in any case and not without good reason
