Just save up the extra dosh and get what you want (I know you want the car ASAP but...) and I can guarantee that it will pay off. You will probably even find that when you have saved the extra, the perfect car is sitting there on carsales.

If I was you, I would also make a decision between a Ute or a sedan. Big lifestyle differences imho.

I don't know whether I got a bargain or what but I picked up an 08 FG Ute for $24k with full service history.. In very good condition from a dealer.. No leather.. But has premium sound..

hey gussa im 21 I dont really want a sedan but if the right one was to come up id grab it I did find a bf with 12500kms for 22 but its 10 hours from where I am :( I do like the black ute I posted but what do you think it would be worth?

also im still just looking until I sell my patrol.

I don't really know what the Utes are worth as I haven't paid much attention to their prices (being a Sedan guy rather than Ute person). There are heaps of BF MkII Sedan's for ~$20K and I think Utes are generally cheaper than Sedan's so you should be able to bargain it down to $18,500 or so.

Hey PookeyMaster I been looking for BF MKII sedans for a while now and they're definately isn't a lot around the $20k mark. If you know where there are please let me know cause on carsales and equivalent websites there isn't a great deal

There's 17 listed on Car Sales for under $20K and I'm sure you could bargain a ~$22K down to $20K.

Okay yes your right. I guess I wasn't being specific enough I personally don't want anything with more than like 80,xxxkms so I guess I never really considered that there were so many on there cause I always did searches under 100,xxxkms. (I also want manual but I realised they're so much harder to find).

I guess there are a lot of autos for sale around that price, my bad lol

I'm 22 and I think a Ute is a good choice for a young bloke. Seat for the Missus and the dog.... I'll let you decide who goes where.

As for the price, I think you can only tell when you test drive the car. The tune will either be a plus or a BIG minus. Test drive it and pay accordingly.
