hey all my name is carl im looking at buying a xr6t lookin at ba mk2 or bf mk1 but the thing I have found on carsales is that its sayin ba mk2 are 5 speeds? is this correct I thought they all here 4 speed autos or 6 speed auto and 6 speed manual.

could some one clear this up and also where would be the best place to look for a xr6t I dont mind buyin from a a dealer for the right price.

Ba1 are 4 speed auto and 5 speed manual. Steer clear if you can of the 5 speed if you want big HP.

Ba2 4 speed auto and 6 speed manual.

Bf1 both 6 speeds.

The 6 speed feels a lot quicker than the 4 speed and can hold more power before needing to be built. The bf is a better car than the ba.

carl, go a bf mII mate.

you can get from a dealer no probs. but must be fully serviced with history. and dealers offer some warranty on second hand cars dont they? 6months?

just do your homework and know all the ins and outs of these cars to find the right one.

hi mate , both more than a few k's over the money IMO , also find out who tuned the ute.

Justin and Black Track in Newcastle do good work.
