Mick from Pitlane advised me to upgrade my typhoon cooler which I had on my xr6 even though I was only after 300rwkw. So 360. Boy your intake temps would be hot hot hot. Because that will be factor. Staying where you are, a $700 hdi will be fine. Nizpro/ plazmaman/ process west are all good. Plazmaman is probably best value. orangeute338 Suspended 260 Member For: 16y 3m 26d Gender: Male Posted 25/11/11 10:52 AM Share Posted 25/11/11 10:52 AM ecu can adjust if you just get a bolt on cooler and use the stock piping you will be right...think about it all you are doing is cooling the air coming into the motor. in winter the air is cooler then summer so the ecu has to change to suit the air temp...its only when you change the flow rate eg bigger piping less drag quicker spool is when you would need a retune...all that will happen in summer is you wont make 360kw you might make it for 10seconds then you will prob make 260kw because your cooler will be heat soaked, the ecu will see high intake temps and pull the timing out to suit the intake temps...engine temp on the gauge has nothing to do with intake temps, the intake temps spike up under boosta cooler that uses all the stock piping would be the best bet...water injection is another option to keep the temps down under boost

Especially over the stock cooler I'd Defiantely check afrs. That's a lot of power for the stock unit :/
