Don't even have a console anymore and pc is empty. Thinkin bout pickin up a 360 with Fable 3 and Forza while they're cheap.

I finally got it yesterday, it installs through steam even when installing off of the disc which is nice, but had to update as soon as it was finished which took ages coz the steam servers were so slow. First impressions are good, the enviroments, weather, wildlife, etc are amazing, I found myself just stopping to look at snow in a snow storm, butterflies, trying to kill an elk with my bow, trying to chase a rabbit, etc. So far I have got past the start sequence and gone on one side quest, took about 3 hours so far. Very impressed in the dual wield magic/weapons, and the combat seems better, with shield bashing and block/counter attacks. For me it seems like an updated version of oblivion, addressing some of its faults, but still has some standard bethesda glitches and bugs.

And the menu, console designed through and through, annoying.

but so far so good, this game is going to take up more of my time than this forum has I think!

just plan around it, share household duties with 3 other people, don't have kids, the missus gets annoyed though. but I still spend fair chunks of the weekend out and about, or doing something in the yard or a project, like the shelving I did last weekend. I dunno, I guess it is just part of my life.

I absolutely love it. Exceeded my expectations by far. And it more than compensated for my disappointment with BF3 . :-) was anyone else just as impressed with the cool book you get as I was?

did you get the collectors edition dave? I got the eb limited edition, had a map and a notebook that was leatherbound and had the dragon logo and stuff on it, pretty cool but essentially useless!

I never really got oblivion, seem too much just walking around looking for stuff. Was I doing it wrong?
