Hi

I dropped my FG XR6T (ZF 6 speed) in this morning at BTA Motorsports for:

Growler CAI

3.5" Hurricane high flow cat

ID 1000cc injectors

SCT X3 and custom dyno

Anyone done similar mods would care to share rwkw and driver experiences?

Will post up dyno report later

Cheers

Armando

Pretty good

Was a hot humid evening in Sydney, 31 degrees and air density was 94.4%

Baseline run standard was 237rwkw

Final tune was 294.5rwkw with 750Nm of torque

The car drives so much better, as soon as you hit the wall of torque at 2000rpm it takes off

Considering a ZF 6 speed flash tune, and with the warmer months ahead, a PWR stepped I/C which should improve quality of air flow to the turbo, and see me join the 300rwkw club

Fast enuff for a daily driver.

I have a ZX-10R if I want to get fired out of a canon:)

cheers

Armando

Awesome result mate. A cooler upgrade would definitely be worth your while. Are you still running stock pipes? I also have a bike (06 hayabusa) but don't seem to ride it much since doing the mods to my car. I'll have to wait till the novelty wears off a bit and get back into it. Hard to beat the feeling of a quick bike

Thanks I was quite happy with results, yes it has standard exhaust apart from Hurricane high flow cat.

I wanted to keep the car looking and sounding stock, I/C should definitely keep the air temps stabilized and provide more consistent boost, maybe a little more power.

I love cars, but bikes are a completely different experience.

Pretty hard to wheel stand a car in any gear:)

cheers

Armando

I think he meant stock cooler pipes...the FG ones are fairly weak I believe and the coolerworx piping seems to be the choice replacement.. Theres currently a group buy goin...

Enjoy it mate..

Great power through the standard cooler, and pipes too!

Nearly 300 on very minimal mods, gotta love these cars.

I'd go with the coolerworx kit over herrod. Both good kits but the herrod kit won't allow you to run a battery side intake if you ever choose to.
