Hi All,

I am in the process of doing a 09 FG XR6T engine conversion into my GU patrol (used to be zd30 3l turbo deisel til it crapped itself), I am having problems identifying the following items any help will be appreciated.

The second connector (red) Is unused I believe, it usually hangs around under the ECU.

I think it may be used for some sort of diagnostic, as it seems to appear after the tuner has played around in there.

The first one could be oil pressure sender...

1. looks to be the coolant supply for the zf trans cooler.(plug it for a manual car)

2. is for the IMRC (intake manifold runner control) not used one Turbo motors

3.where about is in the harness is it? It could be the ETC motor connection on the throttle body,could be a cam phasing or timing connector or could be the crank angle sensor

4.(iirc) is rear 02 sensor

Thanks for all the info guys, Yeah its gonna be thirsty but its also gonna be hella fun! Its getting tuned by Dave at CPV, Hoping for a full tune of 400bhp :)

The engine itself is out of a 6 speed manual (well I thought it was)

If had massive dramas with ford pro spares trying to get all my stuff so id advise steer clear of em unless u can go into their office and make sure u get the right stuff. Its a pricey conversion but its still working out to be just as expensive as putting a 6 litre in it and trying to make that to 400bhp.

I did start a thread a while ago on it but really dont have the time to keep updating it and taking pics.

3. to my knowledge I have no spare sensors/plugs attached to the engine, but all these plugs are at the ecu end. but it is a custom loom for plug and play into the nissan.

Il have a look tomorrow and get back to you's,

I think you have a BF loom not an FG, the 2nd pic is as mentioned for the manifold runner control on an NA 6, but the fg's do not have this plug, the 3rd pic is a connection to the boost sensor and wastegate actuator control (long story how I found that one) the 4th does look like an 02 sensor plug but would need to look at a car as that should not be at the ecu end unless some one has modded the wiring incorrectly
