21psi is pretty high mate! Rob loves to pump psi into those motors :)

Not that I can really compare mine to yours, but my stock BF MKI motor is making 370rwkw on only 14psi tuned by XFT and its a very conservative tune, and I've thrashed the living daylight out of it at 2 Motorvations, 2 Powercruises, multiple drag sessions and track days. I hope for your sake your engine is as reliable at that boost level.

The best place would be to have it as close to your throttle body as possible, since that point is the closest to the intake manifold - exactly where Arron has put his.

You would probably have to modify one of the metal pipes to have a fitting which the Overboost Valve can be clamped onto using a short silicone/rubber hose.

My only question, if fitting one of them yourself at home, is how you set it correctly (for example 1 psi above your tune boost level) without having a compressor with a pressure gauge setup underneath it?

Rob can have a bung welded into your pipe to fit the overboost value, he did one for me. Bung welded in and painted up, put in close to my throttle body and then run up on the dyno and set just above my max psi(it's set at 17psi).

This thing is a real sleeper now, gunna scare the pants of many wannabes in their ricers or commodores(and Fords for that matter). Next time I pull up beside a G6E here in Perth, and contemplate a little stop light sprint, I'll have to be careful it's not you Luke(but it'd be fun to see it let loose close up though)

They are very easy to set-up yourself on the street if you know how to datalog. I've come across fitted ones that are set to high though....infact the one in question was taken to another tuner who advised the guy that it was being used to control boost as opposed to the wastegate duty cycle table.....which I proved to be bu11sh1t.

XF is that 370kw on a stock sized turbo and pump fuel? If so its hardly conservative to pull those numbers on 14psi.

Good to hear the car is sorted, would be pretty perky with 21psi!
