Should I be expecting the same kind of traction loss in my car? There is definitely something wrong with mine! How much power you got there? Should I be expecting the same kind of traction loss in my car? There is definitely something wrong with mine! How much power you got there?Had just over 440 rwkws on an E85 tune (also has 1050nm's at the wheels too which helps with skids)!MInd you about 5 mins after this vid was taken I snapped my input shaft! oh well it was massive fun till then and was a good day.Especially being such a sleeper and smoking so many V8's that look and sound like they should do 8's! A good port job with a soft actuator will have your flapping around. After looking at your boost and torque curves, they looks inverse to a typical wastegate duty cycle table. Ie low duty cycle at peak VE and higher duty either side. For reference, with a tightish 14psi actuator I commanded 85% duty cycle at peak power of 396kw on a ZF equipped BF running 19psi. Stock turbs with a port job....the gtx will obviously be more efficient but don't be shy with the actuator, especially if you're cat is intact. Also a simple explaination of the wastegate duty cylce to help me understand this whole thing. A little flow chart of whats happening would be nice.Searched around but most explainations are very complex.Sorry for the dumb post but trying to get my head around this part of these turbos. Seems to be where most is lost or gained.
