RPMS and torque NM are the same on each sheet, KW increments are not the same.

Have you still got original G6E turbo? get Simon to tweak that to F6 spec (or better) and you'll probably go 360-390kw with heaps of down low grunt.

I do still have the original turbo. That is definitely an avenue to look at. I promise you though, I won't be buying anothe turbo without the go ahead from a tuner.

LESSON TO BE LEARNT!!!

The comment about a stock car beating me to 120 is spot on. That is rvactly what I thought when I got the car back

That's a bummer, but lesson learnt for sure.

You should be able to get a good price if the new turbo hasn't done many km's

Who drives fast in the wet? Now that's just silly in anyone's language.

DSC is your friend in the wet.

I don't mean fast, just if you need to overtake or accelerate for any reason. DSC still allows a bit of sideways action/loss of traction. Just catches you by surprise sometimes.

Nah if I need to overtake in the wet I can just lean on the throttle until I hear slight spool and believe me at that stage it's enough to overtake anything! And also not too much that it spins up!

One tank of fuel... 400km if that....

I'm still curious to know what the alternatives that Robbie and Simon are alluding too...!

HTA's? hmm nah heaps laggier then the GTX

TO4z nope nothing then everything type of turbo

EFR 8374 untested not sure if anyone has even tried one yet but look the goods!

GT 3540??? maybe but still no match for the GTX plus will only go to 400 - 420 max!

And there's not too many T3 good alertnatives left... unless as I mentioned earlier you go T4 and manifolds and externally gated route!

I still struggle to understand why your's is a dog until 4000+ rpm just doesn't make a lot of sense too me!

Even today when I was accidently doing some poweskid practice for sunday I had you in mind and mine just seems to come on boost in a sec and just tattoo roadways all around Sydney!

What HP is your turbo rated at?

Where do you live in Perth, if you want to go for a drive in mine I'd be happy to take you, mine comes on boost pretty hard and doesn't have a problem lighting up the rears anywhere in 2nd gear.

Simon did some small XFT tweaks on my F6 turbo and pushed 16psi to get my power of 358.8kw, as you can see by about 3200rpms its made full torque power. Some have gone 385kw with the same mods and in Autos, so mine was on the 'lower' scale of things

Hope you get it sorted anyway, you are in good hands either way you go and it's a shame you didn't run your turbo choice past either of the guys that could of tuned it

Roof, I might take you up on that offer! Will be good to compare and see what you think of mine too. Plus it would be good to put a face to a name. I'm north of the river, but keen to drive anywhere. Any excuse to go for a drive! Im back on 19th (I work away) but if you have some time after that, it would be good to catch up.

Guess you need to be concentrating out on the road in your beast when it's wet.

Luke surely there is something wrong with yours, by all accounts it should be going spastic with that turbo. What were your rwkw stock?
