Hey guys,

I have 1tonne leafs in my 04 xr6 ute as I used to have a canopy and was carrying heavy loads.

I have recently removed the tools and canopy and the ute is now my money pit as I not have a company supplied ute.

Once canopy and tools were removed it raised a good 3 inches and looked like sh*t so I put some 2 inch lowering blocks in and now it sits just above normal ride height looks ok but not the greatest

my issue is that the bottom of the shock sits inside the rim and clears by about 5 mm when going around long corners it scrubs the rim (20 inch).

are there any ways to overcome this issue I was thinking of removing a leaf and leaving blocks in there is 5 leafs

how many leafs come stock?

yer piss off the blocks and do it properly.

im not liking the idea of the ute having a lift kit, and then you chucking lowering blocks in it. defeats the purpose.

as mentioned get a proper lowered leaf set and shocks to match.
