Drive Euro now and they all have extened oil changes which I ignore and halve. Things change and plenty of good advice on here. But my opinion is yeah run in is still applicable and yeah the first batch of oil should be tossed nice and early.Cmon someone make some sense as now I am intrigued.Scotty Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/77666-939km-on-the-clock/#findComment-1156807 Share on other sites

Takes an apprentice 10 minutes. They found metal in the oil at mine at 2700~km's. Had a sook about it being on its second set of tyres already but didn't affect warranty. Lucky me. I thought the whole idea was to clear all the metal shavings out of a new motor.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2011 FG F6 Auto Sedan Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/77666-939km-on-the-clock/#findComment-1156827 Share on other sites
