Yeah he definitely has taste, the F6 was tuff and the ute is ridiculous.

Mate what battery relo is that? Just curious as it's obviously not the PW one but still fits the PW stage 2.

Ever thought of getting the 50th anniversary stripes made in black? Would look mint..

hi mate no have not thought of it actually.. I remember seeing on ebay you could get the 50th ann stickers in different colours.. will look into it. cheers

how did I miss this thread... that ute looks amazing mate well done!

haha thanks mate dave sure does a great job tuning these things.. he was comparing my tune to yours when he was tuning it.. .. your turbo made more boost down low then mine which is a bugger lol.. very happy with it now.

thanks dillz plan on keeping this ute so trying to do everything right the first time lol. dont really miss the F6 as had nothing but dramas with it lol.. wait and see how much I get back at tax time will look at getting a built bottom end for it. I made it battery bracket up myself but decided to get rid of it out of the engine bay before I got it retuned last week so moved it into the tray.. was looking at a rapid one and plazmaman 1 but with the stg 3 cooler piping they would not fit..

here is an upto date pic of engine bay as of 2 days ago lol..

Fcking tuff car, especially for Townsville weather... Did Dave mention or suggest using a water meth kit at all? I have a kit that was to go on my BA turbo but I will now fit it to my F6X and RAY076 on these forums uses one also up here in Townsville on his FG turbo and seeing the exhaust temps much lower (well over 100 celcius) than pre injection is amazing. Not sure what the intake temps are as I have never scanned it for him but Ray is nudging nearly 400rwkw also thanks to Dave!

Sadly I haven't seen your ute getting around.

Let me know if you still have the stage 2 cooler as I have someone interested in buying parts.

Mate dave did my original tune. 360rwkw with stage 2 cooler and small twin 2.5" exhaust. Since then ive started tuning it and fitted water meth kit as per daves advice, gets hot here in gladstone also. Intake temps originally were 38-40+ degrees at 18psi and now with the water meth runnin g 19.5psi temps are 18-19 degrees. Which has allowed me to add a heap more timing safely. Now making 380rwkw.

Sorry to jack your thread chillaxin, just saw old mates comment on the water meth and thought I would post my results so spread the word. Although im yet to go with e85 I dont think the resilts would be as dramatical if at all, but water meth and 98 oct pump fuel are golden!! Infact id even consider running cheaper 95 octane for when its on the meth but the 98 is just for piece of mind.

Chillaxn, again mate your ute is sicker than aids, would put a horn on a jellyfish!! full credit mate as from memory you're also doing all your own mods?
